The idea originated in the United States at a girls’ camp\, where a spark of creativity and enthusiasm for Christmas led to a mid-year celebration. This whimsical tradition allows people to experience the magic and wonder of Christmas\, even when it’s not the official holiday season.\n\nAt Godfrey’s Pond\, Christmas in July is a special time for the community to come together and revel in the excitement and wonder of the Christmas season. We invite residents and campers to participate in a week of festive activities and create a joyous atmosphere for all to enjoy.\n\n\nOn Saturday\, July 26\, we have a series of exciting events planned for the whole family:• 1:00 p.m. – Christmas Craft at the Pond Waterfront: Join us for a fun crafting session where you can create festive decorations and keepsakes.• 3:00 p.m. – Christmas Caroling and Cocoa: Gather at the Clubhouse to begin a merry session of caroling\, singing Christmas tunes\, and ending at Camp B Pavilion with a cup of cocoa and cookies.– Time TBD – Contest judging of Christmas decor!\n\nWe eagerly anticipate your participation in this cheerful celebration\, spreading the spirit of goodwill and joy throughout our Pond Family Community.
